Many of us are bothered by "spider veins", which are superficial vessels that occur when tiny red, bluish or purple veins congregate below the surface of the skin. In the past, these veins could only be treated through the painful procedure of injectables and surgery, but now those days are mercifully over and with advanced technology offered by Cynosure's Elite system spider veins can be treated with unsurpassed efficacy and minimal side effects. That's because Cynasure revolutionary MultiPlex technology enables the sequential emission of two wavelengths from the same delivery system—a high-powered pulse-dye laser and a 1064-nm long—pulse Nd:YAG laser.

What we use:
We use latest generation of FDA-approved laser system that provides effective non-surgical treatments when applied on spider veins (most commonly found on our legs, chest, face or feet).

How it works:
Our laser system provides gentle touch of laser beam (concentrated light in a specific wavelength of the spectrum) when pointed on spider veins. The 1064 wavelength (Yag) is ideal for targeting spider veins which delivers a prescribed dose of energy to the unwanted veins. The light pulse heats the blood within the targeted area which affects the vessel lining causing it to constrict and eventually vanish.

When I can see results:
Noticeable results, to the treated area, are typically seen in a first 10 days after treatment. Optimized results are achieved after 3-4 treatments to the targeted area of the unwanted veins.
